Degrees and Affiliations

I have had to pleasure of teaching at Berkeley since 2009.  Before coming to Berkeley, I served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar with the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University.  I earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Government from Harvard University (2009), a MSc in Urban and Regional Planning at the London School of Economics, and a B.A. in history from Stanford University.   I have also been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Stanford, a Visiting Researcher at the Centro de Estudios de Estado y Sociedad in Buenos Aires and the U.N. Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (E.C.L.A.C.) in Santiago, and a Researcher at L.S.E. Urban Research in London.
